Alex Yip has been a resident in Walmley Village for over 15 years and a campaigner for protecting the Green Belt and local services.
After leaving King Edwards Camp Hill and completing his Masters at Leicester University in International Relations, Alex has been self employed for the past 8 years and volunteers in his free time. He has been local Magistrate and a school governor.
He was elected to the City Council on 7th May 2015 to represent Sutton New Hall Ward where has lived for many years.
