Thousands of Suttonians were joined by their local MP and Councillors last weekend at the second annual Sutton Coldfield Community Games. The Games were formally opened by Olympian and Commonwealth Games hockey player Jane Sixsmith.
Visitors took part enthusiastically in a huge range of competitions offered, with musical accompaniment provided by musicians from Clifton Road Youth Centre.
Andrew Mitchell said “I am very grateful to the organisers and all of the volunteers who worked so hard to make this event such a success. It is fantastic to see so many young people coming together to enjoy themselves and compete so enthusiastically.”
