David has lived in the ward for most of his life and was educated locally at Bishop Vesey Grammar School. He has run a consultancy firm for the last ten years.David was first elected in 2009 and is very active in the ward dealing with issues brought up by residents. Since then he has helped to deal with the traffic problems on Green Lanes and sits on two oversight committees - Local Services and Children and Education. Joanne Ellis moved to Sutton when she was just two years old and lives on Walmley Road. She went to school at St Joseph’s, Bishop Walsh and the College of Further Education. ‘‘I want Royal Sutton Coldfield to be a place where people are proud to live and work. My priorities are litter and recycling; the care of Sutton Park, and the maintenance of the Town Hall as a place for everyone to enjoy.
Derrick Griffin lives on Allendale Road in Walmley Village and has since 1968. ‘‘My daughters went to Walmley First and Middle School, during their time there I was chairman of the Parents Association and I then served for one year on the John Wilmott Parent Teacher Association. Since retiring in 1993 I have been secretary/treasurer of my old Regimental Association in Birmingham.
Terry Wood lives in Henley Close and is Chairman of Wylde Green Neighbourhood Forum. ‘‘My priority is to help to work with local residents to help Sutton to thrive as a successful independent Town. I want to ensure we as Council Tax payers get value for money.

The Labour run Council are planning to build 5,000 homes on their doorstep. This will not only spoil the surrounding countryside but also create numerous problems for the area.
