The annual Sutton Coldfield Civic Service will be held this year at 10.00 on Sunday 12th July at Holy Trinity Church.
The service will be led by Reverend John Routh, and will include readings by Sutton’s MP Andrew Mitchell and Dominic Robson, Headmaster at Bishop Vesey School.
The Service, now in its tenth year since it was reconstituted in 2005 is a focal point for all of Sutton Coldfield and its organisations, and is always extremely well attended.
The Service is usually attended by organisations based in Sutton Coldfield of every description, including sports organisations, scouts, cadets, charities and health and wellbeing organisations, among others.
Andrew Mitchell said “the annual Civic Service is always uplifting and moving, and celebrates all that this best in Sutton Coldfield. I emphasise that those of all faiths – or no faith – are welcome to come and celebrate all that is best about our Royal Town”
