Allied Healthcare in Royal Sutton Coldfield had an extra reason to celebrate Good Care Week this year – their hardworking team have won a prize of afternoon tea for all of their Care Workers, courtesy of Sutton-based specialist care technology provider CM2000.
Following a similar national competition last year, CM2000 offered local Care Providers the opportunity to win ‘Tea for my Brummie Team’.
Staff and Care Workers were delighted to receive the good news. Liz Farrell-Jones from Allied Healthcare said “Our dedicated team provide thousands of hours of life-enhancing care to the local community every week. To be able to offer them this treat from CM2000 is a wonderful way to say thank you.”
The Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell presented the award to the team and congratulated the Care Workers on the vital work they do. He said “Everyone at Allied Healthcare should be very proud of the work they do in our Royal town to support the people who need their help. I would also like to thank CM2000 for this initiative, which rightly highlights and rewards all the good work that carers do in the local community”.
CM2000’s Managing Director, Mark Thomas, commented “Care Workers often work alone, looking after society’s most vulnerable. Our ‘Tea for my Team’ initiative is a great way to bring these unsung heroes together.”
