Local MP Andrew Mitchell will join Conservative Councillors from Sutton Coldfield, activists from Project Fields and residents in a march along Sutton Coldfield's Green Belt.
The Labour Council's plan to build 5,000 homes on Sutton's Green Belt has received many thousands of objections and will go forward to a Public Examination later this month. Local Conservatives oppose this plan and are working alongside residents groups in their objections.
The public walk to highlight the issue will begin at 10:00am, Saturday 11th October on Laburnum Drive, Walmley (B76 2SP) and cross the Green Belt by Springfield Road heading towards Peddimore.
The walk is suitable for children over the age of 8 - dogs are welcome but the walk does include styles where they will need lifting over.
Please join us on this walk to fight Labour's plans.
