Andrew Mitchell MP has held meetings with the new owners of the Gracechurch Centre, M&G Real Estate, to discuss the future development of the Town Centre.
In addition, Sutton Coldfield’s MP and Andrew Burley, the Director of Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID have met with Councillor Tahir Ali, the City Council’s Cabinet Member for Development to discuss support from the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) for improving Sutton Coldfield Town Centre.
It is now approaching a year since local residents shared their views about how to boost economic regeneration in Sutton, at a Public Meeting - organised by Sutton Coldfield’s MP - with influential individuals who lead in planning, running, representing and investing in the Town.
Andrew Mitchell MP, said “I have held a series of meetings since the Public Meeting I organised last year, to ensure that we drive forward investment in our Town. The recent purchase by M&G of the Gracechurch Centre (as it will now revert to being called) is a real opportunity to see greater investment in our Town Centre.”
