Conservative candidates won all five seats in the recent elections to Birmingham City Council from Sutton Coldfield.
Cllr Anne Underwood was re-elected in Sutton Four Oaks Ward which she has represented for over 30 years. In Sutton Trinity, where there were two vacancies due to Philip Parkin stepping down early, Ewan Mackey was elected to serve until 2018 whilst Cllr Margaret Waddington was elected to serve until 2016.
In Sutton New Hall Ward, former councillor Ken Wood was returned to the City Council with a healthy majority.
Finally, in Sutton Vesey there was no repeat of the Labour win two years ago which saw local GP Dr. Andrew Hardie elected.
The Association wishes to congratulate all the candidates on a hard fought and successful campaign.
Elsewhere in Birmingham the Conservatives held all their seats and gained two seats from Labour in Kings Norton and Kingstanding.
The Council remains under Labour control.
